The word of mouth advertising from my golf friends was great regarding Shellaby A/C Refrigeration. My first time to call them was on a busy weekend, and Shellaby proved the word of mouth was completely true. David took my call, heard the issue and confirmed that he would have a technician to my rented condo quickly. Mind you, the AC company that installed our unit a couple of years ago was called first and they couldn’t get out for another six hours, which would have left my guests in a very uncomfortable situation in summertime heat and humidity. David quickly had my contact info into their system, I received a confirmation text followed by another that identified the technician by name and gave a time of arrival. Then, he arrived earlier and made our guests very happy with a quick, successful repair. For anyone renting a property and they’re not close by, Shellaby is a great addition to Rockport and the Coastal Bend.

These folks did a complete A/C install on our little South Texas home about 6 years ago including running duct work as there was nothing in the home for central A/C. Did a first class job and have been totally pleased with their service and workmanship. The A/C quit cooling last week, I called Dave for help. He had one of his crew here within an hour. Less than an hour after that we were up and cooling again. First rate service from folks I can TRUST.

Installed two Daikin FIT systems at our home in Concan, install was seamless and these systems are an amazing piece of technology! Our old systems were from 2007 (18 years old!) I’m sure it will also help with utility bills, Craig and David did a great job. Highly recommend!

We recently had an outstanding experience with Shellaby AC and refrigeration. We called them at 6:30 AM on Saturday morning, they had a technician at our house by 8:30 AM. After assessing our situation, we decided we needed a new air conditioning system. Not what we wanted during the summer but, they provided us with a detailed quote within the hour on a Saturday. Monday morning three techs came out to start removing the old system. After lunch they began the install of the new one. They were not only skilled, but also friendly and courteous. It’s summer and HOT, but they worked diligently and completed the installation by Monday evening. We highly recommend Shellaby AC for anyone in need of AC services in the Rockport/Aransas County area. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and quality of work exceeded our expectations.

I highly recommend Shellaby A/C and refrigeration. I called them at 5:55 on Friday evening just before they left the shop for the weekend, and explained that my A/C unit was not working. They were very friendly on the phone, and had a technician at my house at 6:30. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He found, explained, and repaired the problem, and had our A/C up and running in a matter of minutes. Thank you David and Craig.

Cannot say enough good things about Shellaby A/C. We noticed our home was heating up quickly this morning and checked the thermostat and it was indeed 10 or more degrees warmer than setting. We had used Shellaby in the past so I called right away for a check of our equipment. Within the hour, the service tech had come out, did a check up inside and outside and determined what caused the issue. He gave me an option for a repair, was able to get our house a lot cooler (temporary but I will take it) and also asked if we would want a quote for a new system since ours is past its prime, so to speak. Reasonable service charge and more than prompt service make me happy and willing to recommend Shellaby A/C.

Excellent response. I had just received and placed a whole cow and pig into my garage commercial freezer when it started making a terrible noise from the compressor area. It also happened while we were expecting a hurricane to hit that night. I called on a Saturday morning and Craig showed up that afternoon. He did not have the part (a compressor motor) and had to find and order. He called me on Wed to get approval to order (it was expensive) and the following Wednesday he was back to install! I could not be more pleased that they were as concerned about my freezer going out as I was. Will definitely be recommending.
